Four Dhamma Tools

I was reading Buddhadasa Bhikkhu’s “Mindfulness with Breathing” and in it he presented a list of tools that I hadn’t seen anywhere previously.  These are four tools that are supposed to be helpful to us in the cultivation of the spiritual journey.

They are:

1) sati: mindfulness/reflective awareness

2) sampajanna: wisdom in action

3) panna: wisdom/spiritual knowledge

4) samadhi: concentration/stability


Buddhism is full of wonderful and useful lists for us to learn. I will add this one. I like it.
